Clam Chowder

5 med. potatoes, peeled & diced finely
2 sm. onions, peeled & diced
2 cans clams, drained & reserve broth
1/2-1 pt. half & half or milk

Simmer potatoes and onion in clam broth until tender. Add clams and half & half or milk until hot. Add salt and pepper to taste.
