Clam Chowder

1 pt. half & half
1 c. water (maybe a little more)
4 med. potatoes, chopped
1/4 to 1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 celery sticks, chopped
6 pieces bacon, cooked & chopped
3 cans clams (near tuna in the store. Use the entire can, juice too, combination of minced & chopped)
2 tbsp. parsley
Mixture of cornstarch & water (to thicken to desired consistency)
Salt & pepper to taste

Combine half and half with water; place potatoes, onions, and celery in and heat on medium to high to make sure thoroughly cooked. Add all remaining ingredients, adding cornstarch mixture last. Cook another 1/2 hour or so.
