Chowder 8 slices Oscar Mayer bacon In large frying pan cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from frying pan and cook onion in the bacon grease. Cook onion until tender. In large kettle add the following: onion and the bacon grease, potaotes, salt and pepper, corn, reserved clam liquid and white clam sauce. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and cover. Simmer for approximately 10 minutes until potato is cooked. Stir in milk and minced clams, heat through, stirring occasionally. |
