Baked Scallops In Cream

2 slices bread, cubed
1 small onion*
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lbs. Scallops (wash first)
1 cup heavy cream
12 saltines
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. cracked pepper
1/2 cup melted butter

Mix all ingredients together. Bake 45 minutes, 350 degrees F .

*May be omitted.
