Creamed Chicken and Oysters En Casserole

2 Tbsp. butter
1/3 cup flour
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk or cream
2 cups chicken, cooked
1 tsp. salt
1 pint Oysters
Buttered crumbs

Melt butter in sauce pan; add flour and blend well. Add broth and milk slowly and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add chicken and salt. Cook until chicken is warmed. Turn into a buttered casserole, stir in cleaned Oysters. Top with bread crumbs and bake at 400 F for 10 minutes or until crumbs are a golden brown.

Serves 6
