Oyster Stew

1 pint Oysters
3 cups milk
1 cup canned milk
1/2 stick butter
2 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
Dash of Texas Pete
Hot sauce

In large pot, scald 1/4 stick butter and milk. In smaller pot, simmer Oysters in their juice with 1/4 stick butter, flour and water added. Mix flour, water and hot sauce to a smooth paste and blend in with Oysters and Oyster liquid. As soon as corners of Oysters turn, pour in with scalded milk, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
