Baked Scallops

12 oz. fresh Scallops
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. sherry wine
1 cube butter, melted
1 cup dry bread crumbs

Butter a casserole and arrange Scallops evenly. (If Scallops are large, cut in half.) Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with the sherry wine. Pour half of the melted batter over the Scallops. Cover with the bread crumbs. Pour remaining melted butter over the crumbs. Bake at 375 F for 15-20 minutes.
