Broiled Scallops

1 lb. Scallops
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 cup tomato juice
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. lime juice
1/2 tsp. ginger

Rinse and put Scallops in medium-sized bowl. Sprinkle Scallops with garlic salt. Combine tomato juice, soy sauce, lime juice and ginger. Pour over Scallops in bowl. Let stand 30 minutes. Drain, reserving liquid. Broil 4 inches below heat for 8 minutes. Baste while broiling.

Yield: 2 servings
