Bacon Broiled Scallops

24 large Sea Scallops
12 slices bacon
Salt and pepper
1 lemon, cut in wedges for garnish

Rinse Scallops with running water. Pat dry with paper towels. Preheat broiler.

Cut each piece of bacon in half, wrap each around a Scallop. Secure with a toothpick.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Broil 8 to 10 minutes turning frequently so bacon will cook evenly. Remove toothpicks. Garnish with lemon wedges.
