Oyster Stew

1 1/2 pint Oysters
1/2 stick butter
1 quart milk or half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Paprika

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Add the drained Oysters to the butter and cook just until the edges curl (about 3 minutes). Add the milk, salt, and pepper; bring just to the boiling point and remove from heat. Do not boil. Garnish with paprika and serve.
