Oyster Stew

1 pint Oysters
1/3 cup butter
1 pint fresh milk
Salt & Pepper to taste

Remove any shells from the Oysters. Strain juice. Heat both until Oysters curl. (Few seconds usually.) Add scalded milk, butter, salt and pepper, heat just to boiling. DO NOT BOIL. Serve in soup bowl at once with crackers.
