Fried Oysters

1 pint drained Oysters
1 cup Club cracker crumbs
Salt
Pepper
1 egg, well beaten

Wash Oysters in very salty water. Drain, mix crumbs, pepper, and salt. Dip Oysters in crumbs, then in beaten egg, again in crumbs. Fry in deep hot fat; drain on brown paper and serve hot.
