Bacon Grilled Scallops

1/4 cup bourbon
1/4 cup chopped scallions
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1 lb. Sea Scallops
1/4 lb. slices bacon - 3 in.

In a bowl, combine the bourbon, scallions, maple syrup, soy sauce, mustard, and pepper. Stir in the Scallops. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Prepare the grill or heat the broiler. Wrap the Scallops in bacon and thread on skewers. Grill or broil 4 inches from the heat, turning once, until the bacon is crisp and the Scallops are opaque, about 5 minutes.
